The Knicks still haven’t won a playoff series since 2001 but the Garden’s $800 million three-year transformation continues to cause season-ticket price hikes.

In a press release, the Knicks announced season-ticket prices will go up on average 6.4 percent for next season. This summer is the final stage of their three-year transformation when an unprecedented skybridge will be built across the Garden where seats will be placed across the top of the Garden’s upper deck.

In the release, it said the Rangers season tickets will go up by only 4 percent. According to the statement, Knicks and Rangers season tickets will be offered at 26 different price points for each team.

Knicks owner James Dolan’s recent policy on his two clubs was not raising ticket prices when the clubs didn’t make the playoffs.
