The Mets weren’t the only local team dealing with rain issues Sunday.
The Knicks’ game against the Raptors was delayed for several minutes with 3:58 remaining in the third quarter after water was dripping from the ceiling at Madison Square Garden.
A team spokesman said there was a “small drip from the rain” coming from the ceiling, but it was “fixed.”
Players on both teams were shown looking up at the ceiling during the 14-minute delay while a courtside staffer mopped up the water with a towel.
After play resumed, the staffer wiped up the area inside the key in front of the Knicks’ defensive basket after each Toronto possession.

The teams, much to the displeasure of Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman, attempted to play through the rain for seven minutes before it ultimately was called off.
