LONDON — Superfan Spike Lee, wearing an orange chapeau, made the trip to London apparently to guarantee victories for the Knicks in their next two games. Following today’s encounter against the Pistons at the O2 Arena, the Knicks host the Nets on Monday.

Only Carmelo Anthony at yesterday’s Knicks practice had a larger throng of journalists surrounding them — two-dozen strong.

“We’re going to win [tonight] and Monday is Martin Luther King’s birthday, a national holiday, and we play the Brooklyn Nets,’’ Lee said. “That’s a win too.’’

When a British journalist asked what it’s like to have another team in New York City, Lee said smugly, “Who’s the other team?’’

“We’re going to beat them,’’ he added. “I’m from Brooklyn, but I’m a Knicks fan.’’

Lee expects a lot of fans to be on his side tonight in East London.

“It’s going to be great,’’ he said. “I don’t think too many people in London will be rooting for the Detroit Pistons.’’
