Knicks’ Game 3 report card: Persevered despite Jalen Brunson’s poor night

Knicks’ grades from their 106-100 Game 3 win over the Pacers on Sunday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse:

Jalen Brunson, D+

Dealt with foul trouble (again) and rampant poor decisions. He made one clutch shot in the fourth and airballed another. Finished 6-for-18 from the field but 10-for-10 from the line. Knocked down a pair of big free throws with seconds left. But overall, the Knicks won despite their captain.

Tom Thibodeau reacts to comeback win

The Knicks head coach has preached all playoffs that "no lead is safe" and the Knicks proved that again during tonight's Game 3 victory.

After making come-from-behind victories a staple of their second-round series win over the Celtics, they turned to that magic once again against the Pacers.

Final: Knicks 106, Pacers 100

The Knicks pulled off another comeback win in the playoffs.

They rallied in the second half -- recovering from a 20-point deficit at one point in the first half -- to take Game 3, 106-100 to cut the Pacers' series lead to 2-1.

Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 24 points, with 20 of those points coming in the fourth quarter.
