The Knicks have life, and the road warriors are looking to come back home even.

After a badly needed win Sunday to cut their Eastern Conference finals deficit to 2-1, the Knicks are back in action for Game 4 Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET in Indianapolis.

The Knicks won Game 3 106-100, with Karl-Anthony Town’s 24 points and 15 rebounds paving the way for New York to get back in the series as he took over in the fourth quarter.

Will the Knicks defense step up for Game 4 and tie the series? Or will the Pacers use home-court advantage to capture a commanding series lead?

Part of the Knicks’ success Sunday was being able to limit Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers to 42 second-half points.

Mikal Bridges talks Knicks turnovers after Game 4

By Ethan Sears

"I think I had three of them, just bad turnovers. A team that plays that fast, you can't give them transition looks like that"

Pacers beat Knicks 130-121, lead series 3-1

By Ethan Sears

The season is on the brink.

A scoreless fourth quarter from Jalen Brunson punctuated a final 12 minutes in which the Knicks hung around, but never got closer than six and never quite had the necessary momentum to mount a second straight comeback over Indiana.

The Pacers won Game 4 130-121 over the Knicks to take a 3-1 lead in the conference finals. Game 5 is Thursday at Madison Square Garden as the Knicks look to stave off elimination.

Tyrese Haliburton finished with a 32-point, 12-rebound, 15-assist triple-double to lead the game in scoring. Brunson's 31 points led the Knicks but he was a nonfactor in the game's critical minutes and outplayed by his counterpart on the Pacers.

The Knicks struggled defensively all game long with the Pacers shooting over 40 percent from three and over 50 percent from the floor.

An Obi Toppin 3-pointer makes it 126-116 with about 45 seconds to go.

That will probably do it here.

Myles Turner fouls out

Myles Turner's night is over. He finishes with 13 points, three rebounds and three blocks.

OG Anunoby's free throws make it 123-116.

Josh Hart fouls out

By Ethan Sears

It's not looking good for the Knicks.

Josh Hart just fouled out, completing what was a rough night for No. 3. The Pacers have the chance to extend their lead to nine with 1:44 to go. As for Karl-Anthony Towns, he's still in the game but not moving too well.

Knicks win challenge, Towns back in game

By Ethan Sears

A double-dose of good news for the Knicks out of the break.

Not only is Karl-Anthony Towns staying in the game after looking to be in serious pain, but the Knicks won a challenge for the second time tonight.

That means Towns is still on four fouls and the Knicks have the ball. Towns, notably, is limping as he comes back in the game.

Karl-Anthony Towns down in pain

By Ethan Sears

Karl-Anthony Towns is down holding his knee and getting attention from trainers after a collision with Aaron Nesmith.

A foul was called on the play, which the Knicks are challenging, but the gravity of a potential injury to Towns eclipses that in importance by an order of magnitude.

The Knicks trail 121-114 with 2:10 to go.

Knicks cut the lead to six with just over three minutes to go

By Ethan Sears

The Knicks might be making their move.

A 10-2 run cut the lead to six and the Knicks and Pacers have traded buckets since. The Pacers called timeout after a Josh Hart make with 3:06 left. Their offense finally started to sputter over the last few minutes -- a promising sign for the Knicks.
