It’s all over.

The injuries were too much to overcome for the Knicks as they fell in Game 7 to the Pacers on Sunday, 130-109, ending their season in the second round of the NBA playoffs.

The final dagger came in the form of Jalen Brunson fracturing his hand in the second half.

The Pacers led by 15 at halftime and the Knicks never recovered.

Tyrese Haliburton had some fun after the Pacers sent the Knicks home. He chose a sweatshirt that rubbed in the victory in the faces of Knicks fans, one with Reggie Miller's face on it, after scoring 26 points in the one-sided Game 7 win.

Brunson won't call this successful year

By Zach Braziller

Jalen Brunson wouldn't call this a successful season. He felt some progress was made, but not enough after a second straight second round excit. .

"“Did we win a championship? Did we get close? That’s my mindset," he said.

Brunson suffered a fractured left hand late in the game, and wouldn't use that as an excuse.

“The cons are that I didn’t play well enough to help my team move forward," Brunson said. “We can say I got hurt in Game 7. I wasn’t playing well in Game 7. We had a 2-0 and 3-2 lead. ’It’s hard to look at things individually when you don’t help the team.”

Thibodeau proud in defeat

By Zach Braziller

Tom Thibodeau raving about this group, which fought until the end in a lopsided Game 7 loss. By the end, six of Knicks' top eight players were all dealing with injuries.

“This team fought like crazy. In many ways they exceeded everyone’s expectations, excluding our own,” Thibodeau said. “We always felt we had enough.”

"The only thing you can ask for is everyone puts forth their best effort. And we got that all year from these guys. A lot of teams I think would've folded. They didn't"

Thibodeau says Anunoby gave it his all

By Zach Braziller

Tom Thibodeau said OG Anunoby gave them everything he had. Felt it wasn't worth the risk. Just wasn't moving well enough. Could see right away the forward just wasn't up to playing more than a few minutes. He never returned after briefly playing in the first quarter.

"I love OG," he said.

Knicks season ends in blowout loss

By Zach Braziller

The day began with so much promise. OG Anunoby and Josh Hart started despite injuries. The building was full and loud. Then, reality hit. Anunoby couldn't go long. Jalen Brunson fractured his hand. And the Pacers cruised to a 130-109 victory in the first Game 7 at the Garden since 1995.

Indiana shot a ridiculous 67.1 percent from the field and was led by Tyrese Haliburton's 26 points. Donte DiVincenzo scored 39 points in defeat while Jalen Brunson had 17 in 29 minutes. Sad ending to a terrific season. More to come post-game.
