The Knicks are alive.
After a 111-94 victory in Game 5, New York has another opportunity to keep the series going.
Pacers’ star Tyrese Haliburton was held to a series low eight points and the Knicks got timely contributions from Karl-Anthony Towns (24 points) and Jalen Brunson (32 points).
Can New York force Game 7?
Or will Indiana be heading to face Oklahoma City for the NBA Championship?

Congrats Pacers. 🙌 Thibs on if this roster is capable of taking the next step: "I'm proud of what these guys did. There was a lot that we had to get through, and I thought we handled that part well."Ben Stiller reacts to Knicks season ending

The best run New York basketball has seen in a quarter-century is over.
The Pacers ended the Knicks' season on Saturday night in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals with a 125-108 win to earn their first NBA Finals berth since 2000. Indiana will face the Thunder with Game 1 on Thursday.
A disastrous second half sealed the Knicks' fate. They never looked cohesive on the defensive side of the floor in Game 6, repeatedly got beat in transition -- including off made baskets -- and were ice-cold from 3-point range, shooting below 30 percent from beyond the arc. For good measure, they finished with 17 turnovers
Karl-Anthony Towns' performance will likely haunt him all summer. It was a full-on KATastrophe, as Towns got cooked defensively, was just 6-of-10 from the free-throw line, didn't make a 3-pointer and looked like the moment was too big for him.
Jalen Brunson, meanwhile, was outplayed by Tyrese Haliburton for a second straight playoffs. Haliburton finished with 21 points, most of which came in the fourth quarter, where Brunson was a nonfactor.
Pascal Siakam's 31 points led the Pacers, who stretched their legs late in the game and controlled the entire fourth quarter.
That sure felt like a dagger 3 from Andrew Nembhard.
It's now 113-94 with 4:20 to go.
Nembhard has also put Jalen Brunson in a lockbox all game. Brunson is just 8-for-17 from the field and has just four points in the fourth quarter.
The Knicks desperately need some stops here.
They're down 108-94 with five minutes to go and Tom Thibodeau just took out Karl-Anthony Towns for Mitchell Robinson, with the Pacers repeatedly targeting Towns in pick-and-rolls.
That's foul No. 5 for Aaron Nesmith, who comes out of the game. As Reggie Miller pointed out on the broadcast, the Pacers using up their challenge early has been costly.
Knicks are down 96-84.
Jarace Walker went down after appearing to turn his ankle. He's now back in the Pacers' locker room.
That might be a season-killing third quarter for the Knicks.
After cutting Indiana's lead back down to eight, the Pacers re-extended it to 15 by the end of the quarter and lead 92-77 heading into the fourth.
Plainly, it was a disaster of a 12 minutes, exemplified by a six-point swing against the Knicks when Deuce McBride stepped out of bounds on a transition 3, only for the Pacers to come down with an Obi Toppin trey at the other end.
Josh Hart has just two points on the night, Karl-Anthony Towns has been a mess on both ends of the floor and both Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges have four turnovers apiece. Defensively, the Knicks just haven't been good enough, and they've been slow getting back in transition all night.
Something has to change in the last 12 minutes.
The Knicks needed a run. They got it.
Seven straight points out of the timeout has them back within eight, with the score 78-70, Pacers.
When Thomas Bryant is hitting 3-pointers ... you know it's bad.
The Pacers have grabbed control out of this game out of halftime and Bryant's trio of 3-pointers are just one less than the Knicks have as a team.
Meanwhile, no one has gotten the Knicks going yet and they trail 78-63.
There have been plenty of miracles these playoffs. The Knicks might need another to keep their season alive.
