With how much tickets were, why not walk on the court?
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has called out Spike Lee for a “temper tantrum” during Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on Monday.
“Are we just allowing Spike Lee on the court to heckle refs in the middle of the game?” Portnoy said. “Then he calls a foul, so we are just letting opposing fans call the game.”
Lee was reacting to a questionable no-call on Victor Wembanyama, who shoved Knicks guard Jalen Brunson to the ground off the ball.
As the play continued, Lee turned his attention to Keldon Johnson, who was called for a personal foul a few seconds later.
In the clip, Lee is the only person courtside standing up until after the whistle is blown.
The actor, producer, writer and director is a staple on celebrity row in Madison Square Garden and has made appearances at Knicks road games throughout the run to the NBA Finals.
