Jalen Brunson is the talk of the town, including the bodegas.
Brunson’s Knicks have taken New York by storm after winning their first championship since 1973 on Saturday, defeating the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.
Now, Brunson’s bodega order has gone viral.
In a video that’s now reached over 5 million views, child influencer Kobe Cash asked Brunson for his bodega order.
“My bodega order? Well, first of all, I’m not in the city, but if I did have a bodega order: peach Snapple, purple Doritos, and that’ll be an everything bagel with egg and cheese, hashbrowns, spicy mayo,” Brunson said. “Toasted.”
Doritos commented on the post: “Everyone is better than purple doritos until it’s time to be better than purple doritos,” in reference to a similar quote about Brunson that says, “Everyone is better than Jalen Brunson until it’s time to be better than Jalen Brunson.”
People across New York have taken to ordering the “Brunson egg and cheese,” with several bagel shops beginning to offer Brunson’s order as a menu item on a blue and orange Knicks bagel.
Bongiorno Bagels shared that they were selling it as a new order deemed “The Brunson.”

Host Craig Melvin gifted Brunson, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges a bottle of Michael Jordan’s Cincoro tequila, and Al Roker brought in a tray of breakfast sandwiches.
Roker handed Towns the bottle and offered Brunson a sandwich, assuring him it was his order.
“This is my order?” Brunson asked, which Roker confirmed. “Oh yeah,” Brunson replied, taking the sandwich.
“Brunson egg and cheese!” Towns joked.
