Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Knicks and Cavaliers tips off at 8 p.m. ET.

New York will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead against Cleveland.

The Knicks pulled off a thrilling, gritty escape on Tuesday, erasing a 22-point fourth-quarter deficit to stun Cleveland 115-104 in overtime.

Jalen Brunson dropped 38 points to carry the offense and will likely be relied upon again on Thursday.

Mitchell says he's feeling "great"

By Jake Nisse

There had been some suggestions that Mitchell was operating at less than full health, and he didn't look like his explosive self in the first half. However, he insisted after Game 2 that he's fine.

Donovan Mitchell on his health:

“I’m great. I’m great. I’m great.” https://t.co/qdrWf1JWt4

"It's just who Josh is. He's a gamer. He knew what he had to do in terms of the adjustments he needed to make in order to be effective, not just for him but for the team."

Brunson does what Brunson does

By Jake Nisse

The Cavs took away some of Brunson's scoring tonight, but he killed Cleveland with his pacing and penetration as he racked up 14 assists,

Kenny Atkinson seems out of answers.

Knicks win 109-93

By Jake Nisse

A comfortable Knicks win in the end, who withstood some fight-back from the Cavs in the fourth to win their NINTH straight contest.

Winning on the road is a different proposition of course, but New York will feel confident of reaching the finals.

Hart exits a career night

By Jake Nisse

It's 26 points, seven assists and four rebounds for Hart, who checks out of the game to a massive ovation from the crowd.

He had the best scoring night of his playoff career, and provided a massive response to his lackluster Game 1.

The dagger?

By Jake Nisse

Brunson scoops up a rebound, races to the other end and banks in an easy layup off the glass.

The lead is now 17, and surely, there's not going to be a repeat of last time.

It looks like the Knicks are two wins away from the NBA Finals.

Jarrett Allen misses the floater, Jalen Brunson grabs the rebound, goes coast to coast for the easy layup on Donovan Mitchell, putting the Knicks up 17, with 3 minutes remaining in regulation (with a replay)

Cavs' free throw worries

By Jake Nisse

Well, the Knicks did get into the bonus, but the Cavs are not making them pay at the line.

Mobley misses a pair and they're now at just 67 percent from the line on the game - and running out of time with New York up 14.

Bridges for three... and the lead's back to 13

By Jake Nisse

The Cavs got within striking distance, but Bridges - who's had another great game - punishes a poor rotation from Cleveland with a wide open corner three.

Atkinson whistles for another timeout, and Cleveland are running out of time to turn this one around with just 6:11 left.
