Not even beer-chugging Travis Kelce can save the Cavaliers

By Thomas Gamba-Ellis

Travis Kelce tried to hype up the losing Cavaliers crowd by chugging a beer — and even that didn’t work.

Shortly before the fourth quarter of the Knicks’ 121-108 Game 3 win over the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday night in Cleveland, the camera at Rocket Arena panned to Kelce downing a beer court side as the fans cheered him on.

Brown on "unbelievable" Bridges

By Jake Nisse

Bridges has been tremendous of late and - more than just making his shots - he's been aggressive and finding his spots in games.

An interesting clip below from Brown on his player's "unbelievable" feel.

Mike Brown says that Mikal Bridges' feel is "unbelievable"

"I told him and OG, because I don't call a ton of play-calls, you guys got to find different ways to impose your will on the game. They're both doing a phenomenal job of imposing their will on the game." pic.twitter.com/r6LbRJkHwB

Remember the name

By Jake Nisse

Whether you call him OG or Ogugua, the forward deserves credit for his performance tonight, as he quietly poured in 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

He's slowly but surely getting over his hamstring issue and the Knicks' core is rolling.

Charles Barkley to OG Anunoby: "What is your real name?"

Anunoby answers: "Ogugua"

Knicks one win from NBA Finals after convincing Game 3 win over Cavaliers

By Jared Schwartz

After 10 consecutive wins, with the latest unfolding Saturday night in Cleveland, the Knicks are now one away from the NBA Finals.

They defeated the Cavaliers 121-108 in Game 3 at Rocket Arena, using a balanced offense to slowly break open the game in the second half after leading by six points at the break.

An underwhelming answer from Atkinson

By Jake Nisse

After three consecutive losses, these types of answers are starting to become the norm from Atkinson, who is struggling to get a tune out of his Cavs team this series.

Of course, the Knicks have simply outplayed their opponents. But a lack of physicality in essentially a must-win game is troubling.

"Their physicality was much higher than ours...credit to them. They were into the ball, very handsy, the whole grab-and-hold thing, which is part of it...we struggled to play through that physicality tonight."

Captain Brunson

By Jake Nisse

Another customarily brilliant Brunson performance tonight, as he added six assists to his 30 points.

He didn't really get going until the second half, but that is just fine for a Knicks team who are sharing and moving the ball so well right now.

The days of iso-heavy, Brunson-centric offense appear to be over, and it's working for everyone.

KNICKS ON THE BRINK OF FINALS, win Game 3 121-108

By Jake Nisse

A complete team performance, as six players reached double figures, Towns anchored the team early, Bridges was hugely impressive again, and Brunson finished strong to end the game with 30 points.

The Knicks have now won 10 consecutive playoff games, and this type of dominance has become routine. Knicks fans, you're one win from the Finals.

MVP chants on the road

By Jake Nisse

Brunson heads to the line for a pair of free throws, and there are audible "MVP" chants from the Knicks fans who have travelled tonight.

They certainly were rewarded for traveling to the Midwest. This has been a comprehensive Knicks performance.

A late flagrant

By Jake Nisse

Refs upgrade a foul on Hart to a flagrant one following an overzealous close out on Strus.

Not the smartest decision, but it shouldn't make much of a difference in the end result.

All but over

By Jake Nisse

Brunson drives into the lane for an easy, easy layup and the Knicks' lead is up to 16 with less than two minutes remaining.

The Cleveland fans are starting to leave, and with good reason. The Knicks - who have always felt in control here - are going to go up 3-0, and are on the brink of the NBA Finals.

Mikal Bridges scores the easy bucket to send Cavaliers fans to the exits, and Jalen Brunson scores the easy layup, as the Cavaliers simply stop playing defense, giving up.

Knicks happy to let the clock run

By Jake Nisse

We're trading baskets at this point, and with less than three minutes left, the Knicks are obviously happy to use all the time on the shot clock.

I'm not sure why the Cavs aren't putting more pressure on the Knicks higher up the court. They're sleepwalking their way towards their playoff exit.

A costly foul by Harden

By Jake Nisse

We've talked about some of Harden's poor defending this series, and he makes a bad error here as he fouls Shamet on a three with the Cavs trailing by 12.

Shamet hits two and is now up to 14 for the game.
