Mikal Bridges was a pivotal figure of the Knicks first-round series.
He didn't raise his game, as he previously said was in his "DNA" during the playoffs.
Rather, Bridges struggled and failed to earn late-game minutes in two of the games, including in Game 3 when he didn't manage to score any points.
However, in Game 6 he had a breakthrough, scoring 24 points while logging five rebounds and three assists.
Mike Brown talks about Mikal Bridges' performance tonight:

"It was great. He just did what he's capable of doing. Is he gonna go 10-12 every night? No, but he was aggressive. He took great shots.

Heroes and zeros from the Knicks’ 140-89 Game 6 series-clinching win over the Hawks on Thursday night in Atlanta:
OG Anunoby solidified his standing as the star of the series, saving his best for last.

The 28-year-old was a two-way force, sparking the Knicks early — with 26 points and four steals in the first half — and finishing with 29 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while shooting 11-of-14 from the field, including 4-of-6 on 3-pointers.
The Knicks will have to wait a little bit longer to find out their Eastern Conference semifinals opponent.
The 76ers fought for their season and beat the Celtics on their home court, 106-93, to push for another game.
Philadelphia was initally down 3-1 in the series and has impressively battled back. While many thought it would be an easy series win for Boston, the 76ers -- when healthy -- have proven to be a threat.
Game 7 will be on Saturday as the time remains TBD.
The Hawks’ Game 6 deficit to the Knicks got so bad that Shaquille O’Neal tried to revive the team.
During ESPN’s “Inside the NBA” halftime show on Thursday, O’Neal pulled out a mini plushie of Atlanta’s mascot, Harry the Hawk, and performed CPR compressions on it.
“Shaq’s working out some resuscitation techniques. I don’t think that’s gonna work,” host Ernie Johnson said on the broadcast.
Mikal Bridges deadpans when asked if he's ever been a part of such a lopsided game: "When I was in Phoenix and I lost"

With less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter, the 76ers are up 98-80 as they try to force a decisive Game 7 on Saturday in Boston.
Philadelphia carried a 19 point lead into the final frame and even after a slow start to the quarter, they've been able to keep Boston at a distance.
The Knicks will face the winner of this series in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The 76ers were initally down 3-1 in this series.
