Even though there isn’t an update on the return-to-play timelines for either of the Lakers injured star guards, coach JJ Redick shared encouraging news about Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves ahead of Tuesday’s Game 2 against the Rockets.

Reaves has started his return-to-play protocol, which includes one-on-one on-court work, while Doncic will be starting his “soon”, according to Redick, who emphasized there isn’t a timeline for either player.
