Less than two months after Luka Doncic pulled his left hamstring, the muscle gave way on him again.
During the Lakers’ Thursday night tilt with the Thunder in Oklahoma City, the Los Angeles superstarreinjured the same leg that cost him time back in February.

Doncic first tweaked the extremity on Feb. 5, during a home matchup with the 76ers. He went on to miss the Lakers’ next four games.

He logged just five minutes of floor time and never appeared to move at 100% pace.
“Obviously, I wanted to go out there; the fans voted me to be in this game so I wanted to be here, be a part of it a little bit,” he said after the game. “But it felt good.”

The Lakers are waiting on testing results on Luka Doncic’s left hamstring. NBAE via Getty ImagesDoncic’s next time in uniform came on Feb. 20. He played nearly 38 minutes against the Clippers, and looked like his normal self, scoring 38 points.
The only action he’s missed since was Monday’s game against the Wizards, when he was suspended for accumulating 16 technical fouls.
Lakers fans assuredly would take a 15-or-so-day absence from Doncic this time around, as the NBA playoffs are slated to begin in mid-April. But until test results return, those backing Purple and Gold can’t do much other than hold their breath.
