The Cavaliers survived.

A back-and-forth series that LeBron James usually sees in the NBA Finals, not in the first round, ended with James victorious on Sunday, as Cleveland escaped with a 105-101 win in Game 7.

James finished 16-of-25 for 45 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals in an overwhelming effort, as the Cavs move on with a date against the Raptors. The next highest scorer for Cleveland surprisingly was Tristan Thompson, who had barely played in the series but came through for 15 points and 10 rebounds in a rare start.

Victor Oladipo poured in 30 points in defeat.
