Even LeBron James’ kids are marveling at his greatness.
The Cavaliers star was approached by his son Bryce on his way to the locker after scoring 46 points in 46 minutes on 17-of-33 shooting in Cleveland’s 109-99 win over the Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night. Bryce, while giving his dad a personalized handshake, asked the King, “How do you make all those crazy shots?” in a video posted on the Cavaliers’ Twitter account.
James, who added 11 rebounds and nine assists and shot 5 of 7 from 3-point range, smiles back at his son and keep the reasoning simple for why he was able to convert a variety of shots.
“I just got it like that,” James said. “You don’t like that? Huh. You don’t like that.”
His sensational effort helped the Cavaliers force Game 7 back in Boston on Sunday. James connected on contested and off balance runners, step-back jumpers, a putback that rolled completely around the rim and in and then back-to-back 3s to put the game away in the fourth quarter.
It was just another night James just had it like that.
