The opponent of the viral “Suns in 4” fan has spoken.

The Nuggets fan, who came to blows with Nick McKellar during Game 3 of the Suns-Nuggets second-round playoff series, dubbed himself “Marty in 4″ during an interview where he explained his side of the viral fight.

In the interview, he claimed the beating wasn’t as brutal as it looked.

“The first thing he did, he didn’t even try to sock me. When he went to yank my chain, he scratched my nose,” the Nuggets fan told Favor by Rome in a post-fight interview, published over the weekend.

“If you ever been in a fight, if you get socked in your nose [with] a hard, you’ll have black eyes. Obviously don’t have black eyes, you know what I’m saying?” the Nuggets fan explained.

“It’s a scratch. He scratched my nose and everyone’s acting like I got demolished.”

When asked how many times the Suns in four fan made contact with his face, Marty said McKellar only got in one solid hit.

“He was hitting my arms and shoulders and s–t, like that don’t faze nobody,” the Nuggets fan said, confessing earlier that he did dump his Dos Equis beer on the Suns fan.

“No he did not demolish me,” he reiterated.

Following the fight, McKellar was celebrated on social media when Phoenix ended up closing out the Nuggets second round series in Game 4, 125-118.

Suns guard Devin Booker learned about the brawl and took to social media to try and track down McKellar — a lifelong Suns fan, who now resides in Denver.

Booker’s representatives at CAA later told ESPN that him and the Suns planned to send McKellar a signed Booker jersey, as well as provide him tickets to a conference finals game. McKellar also confirmed the latter to the website.

McKellar was in attendance for Game 1 of the Suns-Clippers Western Conference finals series on Sunday night, according to his social media.

Game 2 is set for Tuesday night in Phoenix at 9 p.m.
