While the price of the panda shoes remain unknown, ESPN’s Darren Rovell says that they are a cheaper version of some Adidases.
Original or not, the shoes of the former Knicks and Lakers forward come as part of his panda-themed introduction to Chinese basketball.
Using the name “The Pandas Friend,” World Peace is set to play for the Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association starting in November, according to ESPN.
He is also planning on releasing a whole line of panda clothing to go along with the sneakers, which are supposed to be available on MettaWorldPeace.com starting on Tuesday.
