Even Muggsy Bogues is surprised.

But now he has a challenge for Kevin Durant.

Bogues, who was famously the shortest player to play in the NBA at 5-foot-3, recently found out that his career offensive rebound percentage is actually better than Durant’s current mark.

Across his 14-year career from 1987-2001, Bogues recorded a 2.3 offensive rebound percentage, impressive for a player his size.

Durant, who is 6-foot-10, has never been a great offensive rebounder, despite his elite acumen for scoring on that end, owning a 2.2 offensive rebound percentage.

A fan noticed the unlikely stats in a Reddit post that promptly went viral.

“[Durant] needs to get in there and rebound a little more,” Bogues said on a recent episode of “The Hoop Chat with Emily Austin” when told of the stat.

Despite not knowing the stat himself, Bogues claimed offensive rebounding was a critical part of his game.

“Even though I was a small guard, I always got those long rebounds,” Bogues said. “I chased them down. I was in the right place at the right time. But I didn’t know my percentage was better than Kevin Durant.”

Durant, who was traded midseason from the Nets to the Suns, averaged just 0.4 offensive rebounds per game last season — tied for the lowest mark of his career.

He’s averaged 7.1 total rebounds per game for his career, which is solid for a forward, but they largely come on the defensive end with just 0.7 offensive rebounds per game.

After arriving in Phoenix last year, Durant averaged 26.0 points per game in eight regular season games before the Suns were eliminated by the Nuggets in six games in the Western Conference semifinals.

Bogues averaged 7.7 points, 7.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.6 rebounds per game in his career, playing for the then-Bullets, Hornets, Warriors and Raptors.
