The coronavirus pandemic has now claimed the NBA Draft Lottery and Draft Combine.

The events, originally slated for later this month in Chicago, were postponed indefinitely, the league announced in a statement Friday. The June 25 Draft is still on the schedule, for now.

If the lottery is held, the Knicks own a 62.7 percent chance of picking between No. 6 and No. 9.

Coronavirus has put the entire NBA season — as well as MLB and the NHL — on hold since March. At least 10 NBA players have contracted the virus, most notably Nets star Kevin Durant.

League officials and players have been grappling with how to restart the season, including potentially playing at a bubble city, multiple isolated facilities, and jumping directly into an expanded postseason. Practice facilities in cities not under lockdown open on May 8 for involuntary individual player workouts. Teams such as the Knicks and Nets in lockdown cities are waiting to hear from the NBA on alternative ways of re-training.
