One of the most exciting days of the NBA regular season is here.

The NBA trade deadline 2024 is set for 3 p.m. ET and the Eastern Conference has already been shaken up after the Knicks acquired OG Anunoby in late December.

Another blockbuster was made on Jan. 17 when Terry Rozier was dealt to the Miami Heat in exchange for Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick.

The Raptors also continued their sell-off when they shipped out Pascal Siakam to the Pacers.

Are the Hawks ready to deal Dejounte Murray before the deadline? Will Lowry be on the move again? Follow here for all the live updates:

By Justin Terranova

The NBA world doesn’t know what to do when the Knicks are making competent moves.

After years of ill-fated signings and trades by hapless executives, the Knicks are suddenly being celebrated for their front-office decisions led by team president Leon Rose.

That trend continued ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline when the Knicks acquired Alec Burks and Bojan Bogdanovic from the Pistons for Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono and two future second-round picks.

Why are the Lakers standing pat at the deadline?

By Rob Reese

It seems like Lakers fans will have to wait until summer for a big move.

Chris Haynes of TNT shed some insight on their potential plans.

The probable path for Los Angeles Lakers is standing pat at trade deadline with potential to acquire another star player in the offseason when armed with three first-round picks, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.

— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) February 8, 2024

It seems like the Lakers front office would rather hold their chips -- opting to make a bigger move this summer.

Perhaps they didn't like who was on the big board, or they're content to ride this roster into the playoffs.

Either way, it sounds like the Lakers could make a big splash this summer, armed with three first-round picks.

Nets deal away Spencer Dinwiddie, Royce O’Neale

By Brian Lewis

The Nets found a trading partner for Spencer Dinwiddie, dealing for Dennis Schroder in a swap of 30-year-old point guards.

Veteran Thad Young is also coming in the same trade, first reported by ESPN and confirmed by The Post.

Dinwiddie had been Brooklyn’s starting point guard since arriving from Dallas in the Kyrie Irving deal at last year’s trade deadline, but he’d essentially lost his preferred spot to Ben Simmons at the beginning of the season and only got it back through the Simmons’ injuries.

He also didn’t get the long-term extension from the Nets he wanted, and admitted he wasn’t part of their rebuilding plans.
