There were already multiple big trades before Thursday with Anthony Davis going to the Wizards, Jaren Jackson Jr. being moved to the Jazz and James Harden headed to the Cavaliers for Darius Garland.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was not traded by the Bucks, and Ja Morant stayed with the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies couldn't find a new home for Ja Morant

While some teams dabbled with the idea of trading for Ja Morant, it appears nobody wanted to give much up for him.

Ja Morant remained with the Memphis Grizzlies past today's NBA trade deadline. Multiple teams were intrigued by Morant's talent but none were willing to make a serious offer, sources said.

Tyus Jones traded to Mavericks for Malaki Branham

The Hornet have traded Tyus Jones to the Mavericks for Malaki Branham.

The Charlotte Hornets are trading Tyus Jones to the Dallas Mavericks for Malaki Branham, sources tell ESPN. Mavericks have had interest in Jones this season and get him today. Hornets open up a $7 million trade exception.

No aggressive offers for Ja Morant yet: rumor

NBA Insider Jake Fischer is reporting that the Heat could turn their attention to Ja Morant after not being able to land Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, he adds that no aggressive offer has been made.

Pacers acquire Ivica Zubac from Clippers

ESPN's Shams Charania is reporting that the Clippers are trading Ivica Zubac to the Pacers. The return for the Clippers includes Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, a 2026 first-round pick, a 2029 first-round pick and one second-round pick.

Sixers make trade with Grizzlies

The Sixers sent Eric Gordon and a 2032 second to the Grizzlies.

The Philadelphia 76ers are trading Eric Gordon and a 2032 second-round pick swap to the Memphis Grizzlies, sources tell ESPN. This gives the 76ers the flexibility to complete conversion of two-way Dominick Barlow.

Heat were trying to improve offer for Giannis Antetokounmpo

According to NBA Insider Jake Fischer, the Heat tried to up their offer on Giannis just prior to the Bucks shutting it down. They even looked to make secondary moves to add more draft capital to fetch the Bucks superstar.

Jake Fischer said Miami was trying to improve their offer before Bucks shut it down:

Miles McBride is having surgery on Friday to repair a core muscle injury and might be sidelined until the playoffs.
