After making a franchise-altering trade with the Raptors last year, the Knicks could be looking toward Toronto again for frontcourt help ahead of next week’s NBA trade deadline.
The Knicks have expressed interest in Raptors forward Chris Boucher, The Post’s Stefan Bondy reported in his Inside the Knicks newsletter for Post Sports+.
The 32-year-old is averaging 10.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game this season while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range.

Boucher is in his seventh season with the Raptors and was teammates with OG Anunoby for parts of six seasons. He was part of the championship-winning 2018-19 team.
The big man previously told Bondy that he and Anunoby were “best friends” and addressed his former teammate’s quiet demeanor.

“That’s what you guys are going to get all the time [from Anunoby being quiet]. Don’t be surprised,” Boucher said. “It’s just his personality. That’s how he became my best friend, to be honest with you. At first I was like, ‘Man, why is he like that?’ And when I realized that’s really who he is, I was like, ‘Well, you could always work with people like that, people who stay to themselves regardless of what happens.’ ”
Boucher is on an expiring $10.81 million contract.
