It was a great night for the Thunder, but not for Queens native Hamidou Diallo.
The Thunder guard suffered a leg injury in the fourth quarter of Oklahoma City’s 123-95 blowout win over the Warriors on Wednesday night In Oakland, Calif.
Diallo was up for a rebound and then landed awkwardly on his left leg.
Before exiting the game, Diallo had three points, six rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes on the floor.
Thunder coach Billy Donovan said Diallo had X-rays, but didn’t have a further update. A Thunder team spokesperson said that any severe lower body injuries have been ruled out for Diallo by Warriors team physicians, according to ESPN. He will be evaluated further tomorrow in Oklahoma City.
