It was a wild scene outside of TD Garden after the Knicks beat the Celtics, 91-90, for a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday night.
Multiple brawls broke out in the street as police officers attempted to separate rival fans, as seen in videos posted to social media.
One Celtics fan, who was wearing a Paul Pierce jersey, was see punching another man clad in a John Starks jersey on the ground.
The Knicks fan eventually got up and walked away with a bloody face.
A police officer put his hand on the man’s shoulder and appeared to guide him away from the melee.
Multiple police officers detained a man on the ground who was wearing a No. 11 Jalen Brunson jersey, as seen in another video.
“Back up!” one officer was heard yelling.
The fights occurred outside of a CVS Pharmacy on Causeway St., which is adjacent to the Celtics’ arena at 100 Legends Way.

Tensions were clearly higher after Knicks rallied back from a 20-point deficit to steal Game 1 in overtime, 108-105, at TD Garden on Monday — and they did it again in Game 2.

It was a wild scene outside TD Garden. X/@CelticsGRDKnicks forward Mikal Bridges was the hero of the night with his second straight game-ending steal.
He finished with 14 points, seven rounds and five assists.

The Celtics have struggled offensively in both games, particularly down the stretch.
