The Knicks officially signed center Norvel Pelle to a 10-day contract, providing some big-man depth following Mitchell Robinson’s foot surgery earlier this week.

Pelle, who appeared in four NBA games earlier this season with the Nets and the Kings, has been COVID-19 testing this week for the Knicks, and is expected to be available as soon as Saturday’s game in Detroit, according to The Post’s Marc Berman.

Robinson suffered a fractured right foot during last Saturday’s game at Milwaukee, and he underwent surgery Tuesday to repair his fifth metatarsal bone at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

The 28-year-old Pelle will slot in for now behind veteran centers Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson. The 6-foot-10 Pelle totaled just 28 NBA minutes in three appearances for the Nets in February before he was waived, but he averaged 1.3 blocked shots in 9.7 minutes per game in 24 appearances last season for the 76ers.

Derrick Rose (ankle), RJ Barrett (ankle) and Reggie Bullock (illness) all were in the lineup for the Knicks. Barrett is the only player on the team to appear in each of the Knicks’ 49 games this season.

Pistons rookie point guard Killian Hayes will play Saturday against the Knicks in Detroit for the first time since suffering a hip injury Jan. 4. Hayes was selected with the seventh overall pick in the draft, one pick before the Knicks selected Obi Toppin.
