Kyrie Irving is taking another “personal reasons” absence from the Nets and will not play against Minnesota. He was ejected for the first time in his 10-year NBA career last time out.

Irving was excused from seven games in January and three more in March due to personal reasons.

In addition to Irving, LaMarcus Aldridge (non-COVID-19 illness), James Harden (right hamstring strain) and Tyler Johnson (right knee soreness) also will not play.

Alex Rodriguez and close friend Marc Lore — the former CEO of Walmart — are in negotiation to buy the Timberwolves. The kid at the heart of Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns — a New Jersey native — must be excited.

Towns wore a Yankees hat and jersey on a Timberwolves flight when his current hometown MLB team, the Twins, was involved in a 2019 playoff series against his old hometown team.

“Since 2001, my loyalty never wavered,” Towns wrote on Instagram at the time. “@Yankees till the end.”

Towns was a 6 in 2001. Two years later, the Yankees acquired A-Rod, whose slugging helped clinch the 2009 World Series title when Towns attended a Piscataway junior high school.
