Fans were surprised to see Drake sitting courtside in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.
The rapper was all smiles at Paycom Center to watch the Rockets beat the Thunder, 114-110, which marked Houston’s fourth straight win.
But why was Drake watching two of the worst teams in the NBA?
The Toronto native, who’s a diehard Raptors fan and an ambassador for the team, became the talk of Twitter for his “random” appearance in OKC.
One person tweeted, “Why is drake at a Thunder game against the Rockets in December on a Wednesday night?”
Another fan tweeted that the matchup between the Rockets (5-16) and Thunder (6-15) was the “last game I’d expect him to go too.”
Drake’s attendance raised more questions with fans, seeing as he was in Toronto just two days prior. He made a surprise appearance at Giveon’s tour to perform their collaboration, “Chicago Freestyle.”
