The wait for the Knicks to re-sign David Lee and Nate Robinson could finally be reaching an end.

Hoopsworld.com is reporting that both are likely to sign one-year contracts in the coming days. Lee and Robinson did not receive much interest from other teams around the NBA on the free-agent market. Neither player was signed to an offer sheet, which the Knicks would have had the option to match as both were restricted free agents.

The Knicks have always maintained they were interested in bringing back Lee and Robinson, but did not want to tie up the team’s salary cap beyond the upcoming season. Hoopsworld predicts Lee will sign a deal worth somewhere between $6 million and $7 million, with Robinson looking at a $2.9 million contract.
