The Nets traded a first-round pick to the Utah Jazz for Royce O’Neale, according to multiple reports.

The news was announced just moments after it was revealed Kevin Durant requested a trade from the Nets, and that GM Sean Marks is working with the star to facilitate that trade request.

Brooklyn is clearly beginning to maneuver as they prepare for a possible life without Durant. Free agency opens Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. ET.
