The Nets have hired former Duke player Chris Carrawell as an assistant for their D-League team, the Armor.
Carrawell, 33, has worked for Duke since 2007 and joins a staff led by Bob MacKinnon, Jr., who was hired as head coach last week. It’s the first year the Nets have full control of their D-League squad.
“We are so happy for Chris. He’s the consummate team player who became ACC Player of the Year. He has a great understanding of the game and loves to teach it,” Duke University head coach Mike Krzyzewski said. “This position is absolutely perfect for him.”
