Nick Young just scored himself big-time points in his relationship with hip-hop star Iggy Azalea.
During a Monday morning “What Did We Learn?” segment, “SportsCenter” anchor Robert Flores took an unprovoked shot at Azalea. The “Fancy” rapper has been dating Young — the free-wheeling Lakers guard better known by his nickname “Swaggy P” — for more than a year.
“And what did we learn? We learned that according to the Lakers’ Nick Young, a dolphin recently tried to kill him. So, Nick, while dolphins are trying to kill you, your girlfriend is trying to kill hip-hop. Let’s call it even, OK?” Flores deadpanned.
That remark didn’t sit too well with Young, who took to Twitter to defend his girlfriend’s honor.
Flores responded passive-aggressively with a sub-tweet.
