The Raptors are ready to blow it up.

Toronto is gauging the trade market for star point guard Kyle Lowry ahead of Thursday afternoon’s NBA trade deadline, ESPN.com reported. The chances of trading Lowry have increased as the team has dropped nine straight to fall to 17-26.

The report states that reserve guard Norman Powell will definitely be traded, with up to 12 teams — including the Knicks — interested in his services.

Lowry, who is in the final year of his contract, has been a key part of the Raptors’ success over the past seven years, including during their 2019 NBA championship run. The point guard, who turns 35 Thursday, could end up being the most impactful player traded before the 3 p.m. deadline.

Lowry’s hometown 76ers and the Heat are reportedly the teams most interested in acquiring him. Lowry is averaging 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists per game this season.

It has been a nightmare season for the Raptors, who have been recently decimated by COVID-19 issues and are playing this season in Tampa due to the pandemic.
