One day after losing out on LeBron James, the Nets missed on another of their free agent targets.

Forward Tyrus Thomas re-signed with the Bobcats on a five-year, $40 million contract, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Thomas averaged 10.1 points per game last year for Charlotte after he was acquired from the Bulls on Feb. 18.
