It took one day for the NBA to postpone a game due to coronavirus.

Wednesday night’s matchup between the Rockets and Thunder in Houston was postponed, the league announced, because the Rockets did not have the necessary eight players available.

The Rockets sent multiple players home because of contact tracing after rookie Kenyon Martin Jr. tested positive for the virus Wednesday morning.

John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins were among the Rockets players sent home, though neither has yet returned positive tests.

Wall, Cousins and Martin Jr. had gathered Tuesday night at an apartment for haircuts, according to ESPN.

Meanwhile, superstar James Harden was ruled unavailable due to a violation of the Health and Safety Protocols, after video leaked of him partying without a mask.

Harden, who was fined $50,000, has been demanding a trade from Houston for weeks.

The NBA season began Tuesday with the Nets demolishing the Warriors, and the Clippers beating the Lakers.

The league completed last season in a so-called bubble near Orlando in Disney World after COVID-19 caused the season to be suspended.

This season most teams are playing in their respective cities, without fans, for now.
