The Rockets are sending former All-Star Victor Oladipo to the Miami Heat, according to multiple reports.

Houston had been engaged in talks to trade the shooting guard to Miami in the hours leading up to the NBA’s trade deadline, and pulled off the deal as time expired. It was reported on Twitter just minutes after the 3 p.m. deadline passed. The Knicks had been monitoring Oladipo but did not want to part with assets without a future commitment.

In exchange for Oladipo, the Heat are sending Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and a draft pick swap, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The Rockets have been in a free-fall since trading James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets, at one point losing 20 straight games before snapping the streak in a victory over the Raptors on Monday.

Miami is also in the midst of a losing streak themselves, having lost four games in a row. At .500, Miami has mostly been treading water, and needed to acquire a star as they try to defend their Eastern Conference championship.
