Skip Bayless has been going scorched earth against Russell Westbrook and the Lakers on Twitter lately – and Nina Westbrook has had enough.

On Wednesday night, Bayless took aim at the Lakers’ draft choice, Michigan State’s Max Christie, by comparing his poor shooting metrics to Westbrook’s. Bayless made sure to use the infamous nickname “Westbrick” when referring to the NBA star. Westbrook further fueled the Twitter beef by responding to Bayless, saying “don’t say anything here you wouldn’t say to my face.”

Nina Westbrook, Russell’s wife, chimed in with her displeasure on Thursday.

“It’s very disheartening that you would choose to continue to shame my family name,” she wrote in response to a Bayless tweet. “It’s extremely hurtful.”

Bayless is known for getting athletes upset with his cruel comments, but Twitter doesn’t seem to have the Westbrook family’s back on this occasion.

Nina and Russell Westbrook are humans with feelings, but part of being a high-profile athlete is dealing with attention, whether that be positive or negative. Bayless has taken aim at plenty of other players who have turned a blind eye to his criticism.

The only way the Westbrooks can prove Bayless wrong will be on the court. Russell Westbrook will hope he can bounce back and prove his haters wrong.
