A Rutgers basketball player was arrested and charged with assault and making terroristic threats in connection with an incident on campus Friday.

Issa Thiam, a 6-foot-10 junior forward from Senegal, was suspended from the school’s athletic program after the charges were filed by the Piscataway Township police, according to NJ.com.

The alleged crime occurred at 1:15 a.m. Police did not release more information about the incident. Other charges include criminal mischief, false imprisonment and theft.
