Shaquille O’Neal and his fuzzy footwear stole the show on Thursday’s installment of “Inside the NBA,” when the Lakers legend raced co-host Kenny “The Jet” Smith on-air in slippers.

O’Neal, who regularly races Smith to the Big Board, came out victorious, with Smith noting he was distracted by the big man’s cozy kicks.

O’Neal later celebrated with a couple of chest claps, while co-host Ernie Johnson declared that Smith — who sported white sneakers — “got whipped.”

Co-host Charles Barkley also roasted Smith, stating: “You lost to a guy with wolf feet on.”

This isn’t the first time O’Neal rocked the same slippers to the Studio J set. It is believed, however, that Thursday’s race was the first time the NBA great wore them on live television.

Earlier this week, a sleeping O’Neal was seen wearing the fuzzy slides in between tapings. His co-star and former Heat teammate, Dwyane Wade, then had some fun backstage with WNBA player Candace Parker, as the pair launched grapes into O’Neal’s wide-open mouth.
