Suns forward Dillon Brooks was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence Friday morning in Scottsdale, police confirmed to The Post.
The Canadian forward was placed under arrest at 1:33 a.m. during a traffic stop and Brooks was transported to the Scottsdale City jail.
He was released after the booking process was complete, around 3:30 a.m., per the Scottsdale police department.
According to TMZ, Brooks was was “respectful and cooperative” during the proceedings.
“We are aware of the situation involving Dillon Brooks and are gathering more information,” the Suns said in a statement to AZCentral. “We have no further comment at this time.”

Brooks fractured his hand in a win over the Magic on Feb. 21, an injury that’s expected to keep him sidelined four to six weeks.
It was a big blow to Phoenix, which enters Friday’s slate at 35-27 and in the seventh spot in the Western Conference.

However, he has also been an important piece on playoff contenders with the Grizzlies, Rockets and now the Suns.
“You see on the court, it might not be ‘professional’ because I talk a lot of s–t,” Brooks told ESPN earlier this season. “I run my mouth. I’m yelling. I’m yelling to the crowd, blah, blah, blah. But that’s just in the game. That’s my persona.”
At the time of his injury, Brooks was in the midst of a career-best season, averaging a career-high 20.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
