Can’t believe it is the first week of August and the Knicks are still working out point guards. Wonder if Toney Douglas looked more solid in summer league that this day would happen – White Chocolate being in the house today for a Westchester workout.

Jason Williams did not play last season and he’s 10 years older than Ramon Sessions. But on a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum, he could be more cost effective than Nate Robinson. It’s so clear the Knicks want to move on without Nate. D’Antoni appears tired of small guards and Douglas looked a little small in summer league. He had his shot blocked too often when he drove the ball.

D’Antoni and Walsh have to see if Williams still has game. He’s toned it down since his early years in the NBA. Nothing to lose. Except ticking of Kryptonate.

NBA schedule is out today. Is there really an intriguing game to circle on the calendar right now other than when LeBron and Kobe visit. After all, we still don’t know where Marbury will be. Listen, I know I plugged Marbury’s 24-hour Ustream telethon but I wished he would have warned me about the vaseline trick that his grandmother taught the family. I would have at least given it a V-rating…Was at Citi Field last night for first time. People come for the food more than the game now that the Mets resemble Triple A Buffalo. Am I the only one who misses Shea Stadium when it was JUST about watching baseball. If I want to go to a mall, I’d go to Roosevelt Field. I hope the Garden’s renovation doesn’t change the basketball vibe.
