LaVar Ball famously spoke his son Lonzo’s career into existence. LiAngelo, the middle child of the family, couldn’t even speak a workout into existence.

The 19-year old told HoopsHype he had a private, pre-draft workout scheduled with the Warriors. Unfortunately for him, Ball forgot to tell the Warriors, who denied the report, according to the Mercury News.

Ball also said he has private workouts scheduled with Lonzo’s Lakers and the Clippers. After leaving UCLA because he was suspended after being arrested for shoplifting on a team trip to China, Ball played 12 games with Vyautas Prienu in Lithuania.

“I definitely learned from it,” Ball told Yahoo Sports. “I also learned from the experience in China and I felt bad, but it’s over now. I view it as a closed chapter in my life. It’s about looking forward now to the NBA draft, and hopefully on an NBA team.”

In Lithuania, Ball averaged 12.6 points on 41.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc before leaving that team because of a dispute between LaVar and the organization.

Ball is not expected to be picked in the draft, though a training camp invite is not out of the question.
