Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, is refusing to back down in their contentious post-breakup legal fight — in which she has accused him of sexual harassment.
Her lawyer on Wednesday filed a request with a Florida state court to reconsider its ruling that Herman’s legal battle with Woods should be resolved through private arbitration rather than in public court, according to USA Today.
Herman had filed a request earlier in the year to have the non-disclosure agreement she signed with Woods nullified due to a legal clause that provides exceptions if there is evidence of sexual harassment or assault.
That request was denied last month, with a judge calling Herman’s misconduct claims “vague and threadbare” and saying she did not provide the appropriate evidence despite multiple opportunities to do so.
While Woods wants the case to be settled through private arbitration, Herman appears determined to get the case into the public view.
Her lawyer noted in the filing that Woods didn’t opt for arbitration when he kicked her out of his house in October.

“The scheme involved convincing Ms. Herman to pack for a weekend excursion to the Bahamas. She and Mr. Woods often traveled on short notice for quick getaways, and she was told this would be another such trip. So, she took a minimum of items, expecting to return home in a few days.”
Herman claimed Woods drove her to the airport, then told her to speak to the lawyer and left. After that, the lawyer told her that she “would never see Mr. Woods again, had been locked out of the house, and could not return.”
Woods’ lawyer then allegedly tried to get Herman to agree to a different non-disclosure agreement, and “took away her personal property and pets.”

“When the sexual relationship ended, she was kicked out of her home,” the filing stated.
