The Minnesota Timberwolves’ game against the Brooklyn Nets has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. after it was postponed Monday in the wake of the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright.

Wright, a 20-year-old black man, was killed by a police officer on Sunday during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, Minn. Police said the officer mistook her gun for a Taser. Wright’s death has sparked protests in the Minneapolis area.

The NBA said Tuesday it rescheduled the game after consulting both teams, along with local and state officials.

After the Minnesota Twins-Boston Red Sox game was postponed Monday, the Twins announced Tuesday morning their scheduled game this afternoon will be played, and the two teams will play a doubleheader on Wednesday.

The NHL postponed Monday’s Minnesota Wild-St. Louis Blues game until May 12.
