Celtics center Tristan Thompson had some choice words for Suns guard Torrey Craig on Thursday night.

The two almost came to blows on Boston’s home court as the Celtics celebrated an impending 99-86 win over the Suns with 20 seconds to go in the fourth quarter.

In reply footage of the exchange, Thompson can be seen walking over to Craig at the top of the key, near the Celtics bench.

While it’s unclear exactly what they were trash-talking about, various camera angles were able to identify Thompson telling Craig, “You’re trash!”

The clips show Thompson pacing in front of Craig while pointing in his face and waving his arm in the air.

The on-court beef became slightly physical when the two nearly knocked heads and appeared to lock arms.

They were eventually separated by their respective teammates — with Celtics guard Marcus Smart holding back Thompson, while Suns veteran Chris Paul calmed Craig down.

Thompson and Craig both received matching technicals as a result of the spat, and did not shake hands or exchange words after the game, according to the play-by-play announcers.

Thompson closed out the night with nine points, 12 rebounds and one assist. Craig recorded seven points and five rebounds in 22 minutes of play on Thursday night.

The win over the 42-17 Suns kept the Celtics as the No. 6 seed in the tightly-packed Eastern Conference.

The Suns, meanwhile, are No. 2 in the wide-open Western Conference, behind the Jazz.
