Tyler Herro only added to speculation that his time with the Heat may be ending via a trade.

After reports of the Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard requesting a trade and preferring to be shipped out of Portland to Miami, Herro seemed to scrub his current team from his Twitter bio completely.

It had read “Miami Heat guard” and included a header of him shooting at the team’s practice facility.

Neither are there any longer as of Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old Herro would be reasonably expected to serve as a chief part of any outgoing Miami package for Lillard.

Herro missed the majority of the Heat’s run to the NBA Finals last season after injuring his right hand in the team’s playoff opener.

According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, the Trail Blazers are “exploring” finding a third team to help facilitate the deal.

Chris Haynes of TNT and Bleacher Report, who is more connected to Lillard than anyone else in media, has said the Blazers’ star is Jimmy Butler and the team’s No. 1 target, and that a deal with the superstar guard landing in Miami would almost certainly include a third team.

There is still some uncertainty if Lillard will ultimately land in Miami.

On Saturday, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that Lillard’s trade request was made specifically to the Heat.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Blazers are insisting that this won’t be a Miami-or-bust situation, even though that’s reportedly what Lillard wants, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick.
