The Nets delivered a jaw-dropping play to close out the regular season on Sunday.

With less than a minute left in the second quarter of the Nets’ eventual 123-109 win over the Cavaliers, forward Blake Griffin started a passing sequence that had fans at Barclays Center on their feet. After a tip-in from the Cavs, point guard Mike James pushed the ball to Griffin, who quickly launched a no-look, behind-the-back pass to Kyrie Irving.

Irving ran through the lane to send a quick pass back to James, who set up an alley-oop for Kevin Durant to finish the sequence with a two-handed slam.

The viral play, which put the Nets up 11 points at the half, was widely compared to an NBA All-Star-worthy highlight and Harlem Globetrotters sequence by fans online — and instantly had the game’s broadcasters in awe.

“Listen, I don’t like to pat myself on the back, but I did get that thing started,” Griffin said with a smile. “I don’t want to take credit for it. Those guys did it. I was just kind of orchestrating from behind.”

Nash added, “My vantage was I think we’re cute now. That’s all I got for you. I’m glad the fans got their money’s worth.”
