Vince Carter and the Orlando Magic are first up on the Nets’ home schedule.

After opening their season in Minnesota Wednesday, Oct. 28, the Nets’ get their latest big reunion out of the way when they entertain VC and the defending Eastern Conference champs in the Meadowlands on Friday, Oct. 30.

After that they hit the road again for two games, at Washington Saturday Oct. 31 and then Monday Nov. 2 at Charlotte.

The Nets have NO national television games. They are on NBA-TV twice so about 17 people in New Jersey will see those games (Philadelphia, Sunday, Jan. 31 and at the Knicks, Saturday, Mar. 6) Kobe Bryant and the World Champ Lakers make their only New Jersey visit on Saturday, Dec. 19. LeBron James can look at New Jersey up close and personal with the retooled Cavs including Shaquille O’Neal on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 2 and again on Wednesday, Mar. 3 at 7:30 p.m. The Celtics visit on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Wednesday, Jan. 13 in two 7:30 p.m. starts

Jason Kidd makes his lone appearance with the Mavs on Wednesday, Dec. 2 when he can again tell everyone why LeBron is a pipe dream for Nets fans. And Richard Jefferson comes to town in a new uniform for the second straight season when the Spurs play in the Meadowlands on Monday, Mar. 29.

The Nets make their annual Thanksgiving Week jaunt west from Tuesday Nov. 24 to Sunday, Nov. 29 visiting Denver, Portland, Sacramento and the Lakers.

And for the Knick die-hards in New Jersey, the Hudson River Rivalry is set for the western side of the river on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. and then again on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
