FLLYING-FROM-MILWAUKEE-TO-MEMPHIS – It wasn’t an April Fool’s Joke. Last night, James Dolan’s lieutenants were informing us Donnie Walsh will be introduced as the new president Wednesday at a Garden press conference as the club was headed to Memphis.

Odd timing, with this road trip and all but what did you expect from Dolan. Several hundred miles away from the Garden, lame duck Isiah Thomas coaches tonight in Memphis on a day he officially loses his presidency and power. He is expected to run the bench through season’s end and then Walsh will do the right thing.
