Charles Barkley is going against the grain once again.

TNT’s loquacious “Inside the NBA” analyst said he believes the Toronto Raptors will beat the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, going against fellow analysts Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny “The Jet” Smith.

Barkley, who said he was impressed with Kawhi Leonard’s 17 rebounds in the Raptors’ series-clinching victory, said he believes Toronto’s superstar will be the X-factor for the Raptors. Barkley also said he feels the fact that the two team’s don’t play until Thursday will give the banged-up Leonard time to get healthy.

“There’s no player in the NBA who I’d rather have more than Kawhi Leonard,” Barkley said during the postgame show. “He’s a drama-free superstar. … He just wants to win.

“I’m taking the Toronto Raptors.”

Barkley also is going against Las Vegas. William Hill installed the two-time defending champions as a -300 favorite, while Caesars Sportsbook made them -320, according to ESPN.
